Kevin McOmber: Putting America’s food to better use

This year the EPA is leading Feed It Onward - a campaign focused on raising the awareness of food waste, its negative impact on the environment, but, more importantly, the positive benefits it brings as renewable products that create healthy soils for our food supply.

Denali focuses on this mission every day - working with businesses to collect their unused, inedible food, and other organic materials, and recycling it into nutrient rich compost, animal feed for livestock and biofuels.

As a nation, each of us can have a tremendous impact on reducing food waste.
